The 2024 Aurora Pro 800 XT 8x8 is a commercial user's dream with its powerful 31hp liquid-cooled Kawasaki DFI engine, standard ROPS (Rollover protection) with hard plastic roof, ITC (Instant Torque Clutch), semi-automatic chain lubrication, and an 8.5-gallon fuel tank with a digital gauge increases range and all day use. The Pro 800 XT features Argo exclusive APS steering system, a flat floor, 20% more driver compartment room with steering on the left side of the vehicle, handlebar controls with push-button start, high/low headlight switch. An LCD digital speedometer/tachometer display with a fuel gauge and a high-mounted transmission shifter will prevent your knees from hitting the shifter like in previous models. The increased under-hood volume and standard brake cooling fan will keep things cooler and an insulated firewall will increase driver comfort.
The Kawasaki 31hp liquid-cooled gas engine provides excellent power in the deepest mud or snow and is mated to the efficient Admiral triple differential transmission that allows the vehicle to turn effortlessly even with tracks installed. Argo-designed XT119 25x12-9 (635 mm) mud tires mounted on 9" offset steel Air-Lock rims combine to give this machine great traction and best-in-class payload all while providing a comfortable ride.
Standard equipment includes a certified ROPS protection cage, bilge pump, full-length skid plate, front and rear bearing extensions, 9" steel offset Air-Lock rims, high/ low headlights, led rear tail lights, hood rack, 3500lb synthetic rope winch, brushguard, and a 40 amp external alternator. The Aurora Pro 800 XT 8x8 is equally well suited for hard work as it is for play providing many commercial and government customers a workhorse in their fleet, yet it's refined and comfortable for all of your recreational needs. A new feature for 2024 is the (EAGS) Easy-Access Grease System which eliminates the need to reach to the front of the chassis and try to find the axle grease zerks. Zerks are now located on a remote easy access block right behind the firewall with hoses that lead directly to the bearings for quick and stress-free maintenance.
Extreme duty 1.375" steel forged axles mounted on off-set steel Air-Lock rims allow for a quick and reliable conversion to tracks or running low air pressures for a more comfortable ride. Gone are the days of adding wheel spacers and lug extenders. All you need to do is turn the rim around, reinstall the lug nuts, and slide the tracks on. This new design greatly improves durability and reduces installation time.
The Aurora Pro 800 XT 8x8 is powered by a 4-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled 824cc, 33 hp (50.3 cu. in.) Kawasaki FD851D engine with DFI and a 40 amp alternator. The unit has a load capacity of up to 635 lb. / 288 kg on land or 435 lb. / 197 kg on water, can transport 6 passengers on land, and up to 1-2 persons on water (recommended for 26" or less of water depth), and features a towing capacity of 1800 lb. / 816 kg.
* This model due to the ROPS is not recommended for use in deep water as the weight of this model is carried up high and can cause the vehicle to become unbalanced and take on water. It can ford water up to 26".
This model does not meet California CARB emission standards and cannot be sold or shipped to California.

ROPS (ROLLOVER PROTECTION)
Standard on Aurora R 8x8 models is an integrated certified ISO 5700 / SAE J2194 rollover protection system with two front and two rear seat belts and a removable forward-facing rear bench seat. A hard plastic roof, canvas enclosure, and permanent mount windshield are available as accessories.
INSTANT TORQUE CLUTCH (ITC)
Argo-developed Instant Torque Drive System (ITDS) which improves low-end torque and increases acceleration. The new Instant Torque Clutch (ITC) is designed to provide the optimal gear ratio in all terrains and conditions or whether you are running tracks. Torque increases 28% compared to our previous optional HT (3.3 or 8.1) transmission ratios and acceleration increases by 25% compared to our previous clutching when tested on the standard ratio Admiral or Classic transmissions.
APS STEERING
The APS (Argo Progressive Steering) is an innovation in the area of braking force applied to the transmission steering differential. This new steering system implements a dual-rate progressive spring allowing the vehicle to turn in one continuous motion making the vehicle easier and more comfortable to drive.
ADMIRAL TRANSMISSION
The Admiral transmission offers a smooth driving experience with its triple limited-slip differentials that reduce power in high gear offer effortless turning and reduce maintenance with the direct drive shafts to the drive chains. High / Low gear selection is easily accomplished by the lever on the dashboard and separate hand brake calipers offer superior braking while still being able to control the steering direction.
EAGS - EASY ACCESS GREASE SYSTEM
New for 2024 is the easy-access grease system that eliminates the need to crawl around the interior of the chassis and reach for the axle zerks. Zerks are now located on a remote easy access block with hoses that lead directly to the bearings for quick and stress-free maintenance.
AIRLOCK RIMS
The signature AirLock steel 9" rim allows you to adjust the air pressure of the tires depending on your terrain without the possibility of the tire coming off the rim while providing up to a 30% smoother ride over non-AirLock designs. The rim also features multiple ports to access the grease zerks for easy maintenance without having to remove the tire from the vehicle.
HOOD RACK
The Aurora Pro features a heavy-duty removable steel front hood rack with a 50lb limit for additional gear and tools.
