The 2024 Fat Truck 2.8 Wagon is the ultimate amphibious transporter for moving people and gear to Earth's most remote extreme places. Whether you need a vehicle to move up to 8 occupants into a remote camp or need a fully enclosed cabin to protect expensive gear, the 2.8 Wagon is the perfect platform that can be accessorized to meet your job's needs. The unit can be equipped with cab heat, air-conditioning, six rear cabin flip-up or two forward-facing seats, a ladder and roof rack for up-fitting to meet your job's storage needs, and a multitude of LED lights to brighten your path. Whatever your job we can assist you in getting the correct set-up to meet your needs.

Power comes from a Hatz 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel with a 1.95-liter displacement, 74 horsepower, and 180 lb-ft (at 1600 rpm) of torque mated to a hydrostatic drive with zero turn capability. Operation is controlled by a single center cab-mounted joystick that can either be driven on the left or right side of the vehicle. The color information display and select switches are conveniently located on the center stack for driver or passenger sightlines and overhead within easy reach. The unit color options are red or white but can be wrapped in any color or pattern of your choice for an additional cost.

The unit has a base payload of 2200lbs, an unaccessorized base vehicle weight of 5440 lbs, and a top speed of 25mph on land, and 3.1 mph on water. It can tackle a 35-degree uphill/downhill maximum angle and a 22-degree sidehill maximum angle. The base unit has a ground pressure with the stock tires of 1.6 lbs per sq inch. The rear cab area measures 54.4"long x 43.4"wide with the rear door closed.

The tires are a swim paddle design with a 1640x640x610mm size and capable of pressures from 0.5 to 4.5 psi. Optional high floatation wheel pods are an accessory for increased buoyancy.

Standard equipment is an enclosed front cab with windshield and sliding windows, full vehicle ROPS with ISO3471 certification, 2 front seats with 3 point seatbelts, electric horn, fire extinguisher, bilge pump, first aid kit, front and rear bumpers, a front folding door with ladder, lockable fuel cap, two cup holders, operators manual, and the standard vehicle color is red or white. Many options are available, such as color wrap, windshield with wiper, rear ROPS with roof rack and ladder, rear seats, winch, heaters, air conditioning, back-up camera, and many other accessories.
