The 2024 Fat Truck 8x8 Wagon is the ultimate 8x8 amphibious transporter for moving people or gear to Earth's most remote places. Whether you need a vehicle to move up to 16 occupants into a remote jobsite or require a fully enclosed cabin to protect expensive gear, the 8x8 Wagon is the perfect platform that can be accessorized to meet your job's needs. Both cabs can be equipped with air-conditioning, a cold weather package, two additional front car cabin seats, 12 rear car cabin flip-up seats or 8 forward-facing seats, 12,000lb winch, and additional storage options. Power comes from a Cummins 4-cylinder liquid-cooled turbo-diesel with a 3.8-liter displacement, 173 horsepower, and 457 lb-ft (at 1500 rpm) of torque mated to a hydrostatic drive with zero turn capability and true 8x8 drive. Operation is controlled by a single center cab-mounted joystick that can either be driven on the left or right side of the vehicle. The color information display and select switches are conveniently located on the center stack for driver or passenger sightlines and overhead within easy reach. The unit color options are red or white but can be wrapped in any color or pattern of your choice for an additional cost.

The front car has a base payload of 1000 lbs, and seats 2 persons standard, the rear car has a payload capacity of 3000 lbs and can optionally seat up to 12 but does not have any seats standard. The combined car base unaccessorized vehicle weight is 14,000 lbs, and has a top speed of 25mph on land, and 3.1 mph on water. It can tackle a 35-degree uphill/downhill maximum angle, and a 22-degree sidehill maximum angle and has 25" of ground clearance.

The tires are a swim paddle design with a 1640x640x610mm size and capable of pressures from 0.5 to 6 psi. The base unit has a ground pressure with the stock tires of 1.9 lbs per sq inch. High floatation wheel pods are standard for maximum buoyancy on both cars.

The Standard equipment on the front car is an enclosed front cab with windshield and sliding windows, full vehicle ROPS with ISO3471 certification, 2 front seats with 3 point seatbelts, heater/defroster, surround-view camera system, electric horn, fire extinguisher, roof hatch, bilge pump, mirrors, front LED lightbar, LED amber beacon lights, electronic inclinometer, transport d-rings, first aid kit, front and rear bumpers, a front folding door with ladder, lockable fuel cap, two cup holders, and operators manual.

The standard equipment on the rear car is 4 circulating fans, a diesel Webasto air heater, six cup holders, a communication system, a roof rack w/ ladder, interior dome lights, a rear LED lightbar, two amber rear beacon lights, two USB charge ports, two 12v ports, emergency hammer, fire extinguisher, backup alarm, rear hitch, wheel pods, and two transport D-rings. The standard vehicle color is red or white.
