658-08 - MODIFIED VISE GRIP - 40-60 SERIES CHAIN TOOL - ARGO ATV PART

Every Argo owner needs this one tool in their box of magic when it comes time to install a chain on your Argo.

Allows you to pull the chain together, lock the modified pliers and slide the master link in without having to stand on your head and use a third arm. Works with #40 - #60 size chains.

Tech Tip:

When installing a new chain be sure all 6 or 8 wheels are lifted off the ground ( 1" - 2") so there is zero torque running through your chains. Place the transmission in neutral and rolls the tires a few times while the vehicle is suspended off the ground then install the chain(s). Installing a chain with torque still in any other chain can cause premature slider block wear or severe chain binding. Always use proper safety equipment when lifting the vehicle off the ground.
