The Coulter family legacy began in 1928 in West Peoria, Illinois, when John Coulter founded Peoria Disposal Company with a single truck during the Great Depression. Built on hard work, integrity, customer service, and strong family values, the business steadily grew into one of the Midwest’s largest family-owned environmental service companies. Growing up in a family business taught each generation the importance of responsibility, innovation, and treating employees and customers like family — values that continue to shape the Coulter family today.

That same passion for entrepreneurship, outdoor adventure, and multi-generational leadership inspired the Coulter family to purchase Adventure Offroad Group. Through AOG, the family continues its commitment to building strong customer relationships while creating opportunities for future generations. Patrick and Michael Coulter now help lead the company’s growth through business development, branding, media, and customer engagement, combining fresh ideas with the family’s long-standing tradition of service. Whether through hunting, trail riding, fishing, or exploring remote terrain together, the outdoors has always played a central role in the Coulter family’s life and connection to the ARGO and off-road community.
